Subsidized micro-markets

Turn the break room into a benefit.

A subsidized micro-market lets you discount refreshments for your team, or cover them outright. You set the budget and we build the room around it, anywhere in Phoenix, Scottsdale or the wider Valley.

What you get

You decide how much of it you cover.

A subsidized micro-market is the same room as any other, stocked with meals, snacks, drinks and options that suit different diets. The difference is who pays for what. It is set at the kiosk and we invoice you the difference, so you always see the real cost.

  • Discount everything by a set percentage, or cover one category outright.
  • Credit each employee a monthly allowance on their market account.
  • Run a hybrid, with selected items free and the rest at normal price.
  • Change it whenever you like. Nothing is locked in.

Questions about subsidizing

What does the equipment cost?

Nothing. The cabinetry, the coolers and the kiosk are provided and installed at no cost, the same as an unsubsidized market. A subsidy only changes what your team pays at the kiosk.

How do we know what it will cost us each month?

You set the rate and we invoice the difference, so the cost tracks real usage rather than an estimate. Most employers start at a modest percentage and adjust once they can see a month or two of actual data.

Can we subsidize only part of it?

Yes, and most do. Covering drinks or coffee outright and leaving snacks at normal price is the most common arrangement, because it reads as generous without being open-ended.

Can we change it later?

Whenever you like. Adding a subsidy later lands well. Taking one away lands badly, so it is usually better to start modest and build up.
